The Museum hosted Rufus Retro Holiday Nights in December 2024. Vintage Christmas lights made by the once bustling Paragon Company of Lewiston, Maine made a beautiful display. From the Portland Press Herald, "By the mid-1970s, though, it (Paragon) couldn’t compete with the prices from a growing Christmas industry in Asia, especially with the market for its own products diminishing in America as a fickle public turned away from the seemingly old-fashioned glass balls in favor of the newest and latest."
